Ten years ago today, Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes of TLC was in a fatal car accident in Honduras. (Moment of silence). Now, perhaps inspired by Tupac’s hologram resurrection at Coachella, former bandmates Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins and Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas have revealed plans to tour as a trio.
After speaking with a rep, TMZ reports that the group is planning a big U.S. reunion tour for 2012, in which Left Eye’s image will be projected onto a large screen during performances; Lopes’ vocals will also be used in live shows. T and C have apparently already booked five major cities. [TMZ]
