12 Ways to Prep for The Hunger Games
How are you prepping for The Hunger Games this weekend? We’re rocking a Chevron braid, cooking up Peeta cups with hummus, and amping up our archery skills on our iPhones, of course.
It’s true. I read The Hunger Games partially for work purposes. ;)
Vacation reading. Finished Great House on the plane. Started Everything Beautiful Began After but put it down in favor of An Object of Beauty.
Finished with the standout: Joan Didion, The Year of Magical Thinking. Moment of serendipity? Reading about John Gregory Dunne and Quintana Roo while IN the province/state of Quintana Roo. Perfect.
In a totally amateur turn of events, I left Great House on the Miami-to-Tampa plane. On to The Tower, the Zoo, and the Tortoise.
Oh yeah. Also read The Imperfectionists about a month ago and really enjoyed it.
Finished A Visit from the Goon Squad, and went for some super fluffy airplane reading by the silly and hilarious Miss Handler.
