OMG! This is so amazing. I did a one year residency at the Vermont Studio Center in Johnson, VT and it is pretty rare that imagery of this darling town comes my way. Love it.

“Déjà Visite” was a project initiated while in residence at The Vermont Studio Center in Johnson, VT. “Déjà Visite” is an intervention, where 15 postcards of a bygone Johnson were returned back to their original place of origin. Purchased on ebay, postcards mailed from Johnson in the early 20th century through the 60’s were brought back to town. The postcards were then smuggled back into local stores which sold postcards, ultimately the postcards were placed back into the postcard racks among images of a contemporary Johnson, completing a journey at times over 100 years long.
