My friend Lindsay is throwing a big birthday bash for her brother’s 30th. She asked me for some help organizing and what not, and I decided to make an art project out of it. With Lindsay’s help, I collected thirty facts about her brother from his friends and family and created thirty original drawings based on these facts and a simple website for viewing them. At the party itself, these drawings will likely evolve into more, but I’ll save that for later.
How did I create these drawings? After concepting how to illustrate each fact, I drew each one by hand, then scanned into the computer and added color using Photoshop. I created the site in Dreamweaver.
I think a good number of these may find themselves burnt into silkscreens for some fun totes and tees - let me know if any of you are interested. (via anjimation)
