Remember mini discs?
Back in the late 90s I took it upon myself to become an avid collector/trader/recorder of all things Ani Difranco. Yes, this involved mailing bootleg concert cds and cassettes to strangers and receiving the same in return. As the only one to record her concert in Philadelphia in 1999 (on minidisc, of course, and then transferred to cassette), I was highly sought after and was able to get about 50 bootleg concerts simply from having the one rarity! And I still have a beat up Case Logic to prove it. Hooray!
