Should you need further convincing that a show written and performed by Lucas Kavner is something worth spending fifteen bucks on, let me remind and enlighten you.
Lucas first gained internet fame with his portrayal of Vlad in Song for Sarah (Palin).
After the company he worked for crumbled, he started Recession Affects.
Then he was featured in McSweeney’s: This Recession is Awesome!
All the while he continued to write music for his one-person band, Camp Firewood.
And, most recently, he has just written an article published in yesterday’s Washington Post!! A Recession That Doesn’t Totally Bite.
Oh, and he was my roommate for a month!
