It is most strange that I posted the trailer for Patrick Swayze’s film debut just a few hours before his death. But, that is that. I do feel sadness - he is one of those heartthrobs you fall in love with very early in life, when you think that dancing is the center of everything. Dirty Dancing is certainly an anthem for me, and She’s Like the Wind (sung by P.S.) is epic. And I can’t come close to counting the number of times I’ve said, “I carried a watermelon.”
RIP Patrick. Johnny Castle.
